Annual Invitational Golf Tournament

The Sequoia Hospital Foundation's 33rd Annual Invitational Golf Tournament took place on September 18, 2017 at Menlo Park's Sharon Heights Golf and Country Club and benefitted Sequoia’s Heart and Vascular Institute. Thanks to the participation of the golfers, sponsors, donors and volunteers, this year’s event grossed more than $170,000 for the hospital, recently recognized as one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals for cardiac surgery for the third consecutive year by Healthgrades.

Tournament co-chairs, Beverly Joyce, M.D. and Ken Tehaney presided over an enjoyable day of golf and an awards dinner generously sponsored by Duncan and Shirley Matteson. Luis Castro, M.D., cardiac surgeon and Foundation Board member, was honored for his more than one hundred Guardian Angel grateful patient recognitions.

Congratulations to the overall winners of this year’s tournament, Greg Engel, M.D.; Hardwin Mead, M.D.; Todd Rademacher; and Kevin Clark.
