Samantha Polizzi

Manager, Philanthropy Communications 

Samantha Polizzi joined the Sequoia Hospital Foundation in 2021 as the Manager of Philanthropy Communications. Originally from Los Angeles, Samantha moved to Santa Cruz as a transfer student to the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2014. With an interest in the medical field she began as a Foundation intern at Dominican Hospital in 2015, and graduated in 2016 from UCSC with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology.

Samantha developed a strong calling to the non-profit mission of Dominican Hospital and transferred into a full-time position as a Development Specialist in 2017. She brings experience in graphic design and strategic marketing planning from supporting small businesses.

Samantha is passionate about education and women’s health care, as well as her family. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her partner, Jose, two children, Aiden and Julian, and tiny 5-pound Chihuahua, Princess. She enjoys going to the beach and camping.
