Hearts of the Hospital Virtual Event

The Sequoia Hospital Foundation’s Hearts of the Hospital group was established to help advance the decades-long legacy of Dignity Health Sequoia Hospital through public education and engagement while raising funds necessary to transform patient care and programs, and secure cutting-edge technology today and well into the future.

This year’s virtual event will be held on August 26 - 30, 2020. The event will feature a silent auction, performances by singer/songwriter Ruth Gerson (pictured below left) and local singer/songwriter Summer Brennan (pictured below right) as well as a private performance by internationally-renowned opera singer Pasquale Esposito. Proceeds will benefit Sequoia Hospital Foundation’s Caregiver Response Fund.

Silent auction preview days – get a sneak peek at the silent auction items that will be available to bid on later in the week.

Thursday, August 27, 2020

6:00 pm – Silent auction opens for bidding
6:00 pm – Welcome & thank you from Co-Chairs
6:15 pm – Welcome from Bill Graham, Sequoia Hospital President
6:25 pm – Sequoia Stories: hear one nurse’s story of battling a pandemic firsthand from the Emergency Department
6:30 pm – Private performances by Ruth Gerson & Summer Brennan
7:30 pm – Live portion of the night ends, silent auction will remain open until Sunday, August 30 at 11:00 pm.

6:30 pm – Welcome & a brief discussion about COVID-19 and our new normal by Dieter Bruno, MD, Sequoia Hospital’s Chief Medical Officer
6:55 pm – Sequoia Stories: one nurse describes what working in the ICU is like during a pandemic
7:00 pm – Private performance by Pasquale Esposito
7:30 pm – Live portion of the night ends, silent auction will remain open until Sunday, August 30 at 11:00 pm.

Silent auction bidding will remain open until Sunday, August 30, 2020 at 11:00 pm.
Winning bidders will be contacted the following week with information on how to redeem purchased items.
